Quilt Artist: Lectures, Workshops and Classes

Quilting with Lujean at CONEJO VALLEY ADULT SCHOOL

Learn the basic principles of quilting and expand your knowledge with new techniques and designs. Lessons include piecing, borders, quilting, binding and other finishing techniques. During the semester you will learn several original quilts and small projects. The class welcomes quilters of all levels.


Class meets 18 times, and each class is 6 hours long, not including a break for lunch.More samples: Sample photos of quiltInstructor: Lujean Seagal studied textile design and holds a BA in Fine Arts. She has completed over 350 quilt projects, and her work has appeared in numerous juried shows. Lujean has a B.A. in Fine Arts and full time teaching credential in adult education in textiles. She enjoys leadership in S. Cal Quilt Guilds, National Quilt sociation and Conejo Valley Quilters. Her experience includes instructional lectures at over 50 quilt guilds and she has created numerous pieces for individuals and corporations.

Students will discover how easy it is to make attractive pieced quilts with quick methods using rotary cutter and strip sewing. New and different quilt patterns will be taught each section. Sewing machine experience necessary.
